introducing our bursary fund

Brave spaces for growth.

Help us co-create brave spaces for learning that develops compassionate, reflective and responsive leadership in individuals and communities.

Support deep change work.

There is an urgent need for changemakers to skillfully navigate emotions, conflict, power and difference grounded in a commitment to social justice, diversity and equity. The Inner Activist offers unique opportunities for progressive leaders to build their capacity in order to make transformative change in their organizations and their communities.

We challenge the idea that inner work is about “soft skills” that should be sidelined in the pursuit of systemic change. Instead, we believe that this work is central to the pursuit of justice. It’s not soft, it’s hard work, it’s uncomfortable, and it takes courage.

Be brave and join us. Support the co-creation of brave spaces at The Inner Activist by championing our Brave Spaces Bursary Fund. Our goal is to raise $20,000 in bursaries for our 2020 courses.

Testimonials from past participants

Silvia
“This is an eye and heart opener for anyone who cares about the future, the planet and how we treat each other. Through a combination of practices, deep conversations, connection to nature and each other, participants are invited to explore the complex intersection of their identities and the power dynamics and bias shaped by systems and structures of oppression and colonization.

This is a brave yet compassionate space where you will be deeply un-settled and invited to co-create the resilient communities we all deserve.”
- Silvia Di Blasio, The Work That Reconnects
Rehka
“This work often feels lonely and I was so grateful to be learning and unpacking in community. Between the exceptional team at Inner Activist and an all-star cast of facilitators, it was possibly the best program experience I've ever had.”
